I have over 10 years of experience working in a very busy medical office where my duties varied, I found that I really loved the clerical aspects of my work. The organization and meticulous details come as second nature to me and I appreciate a place for everything and everything in its place. I also continue to work at a local retirement home occasionally on weekends as a receptionist and love chatting with the residents and learning from there life experience.
I think of myself as a people person so working where I get to interact with a variety of people day to day is awesome for me. All of my co-workers have proven to be genuinely fantastic people so that helps as well. Getting to come to a positive work place where teamwork makes the dreamwork was my goal, and I have found it here.
Up until I was in grade 4 or 5 we had Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner at my Grandma’s house in Haliburton, she had no hydro or running water. She cooked the entire meal on a woodstove for 30 plus people. My friends always thought I was making it up but nope it is the truth and a great memory.
My first and most important goal is to make clients feel welcome in the office. I am the first person clients see quite often I want to address their needs quickly, efficiently and most important kindly.
