I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, where I studied Psychology at Carleton University. I just recently completed my Juris Doctor degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Although I miss the East Coast, I’m thrilled to be back in Ontario. Peterborough has always been my home away from home.
I gained experience with the Federal Government in policy and procurement, working with the Canadian Coast Guard to coordinate the design and purchase of a range of equipment related to coastline protection and oil recovery. I also spent time working with Public Safety Canada researching Criminal Psychology, focusing mainly on the reoffending habits of probational offenders.
I love working with friendly and happy people! It makes all the difference when the people around you are approachable and open, whether you have a minor question or just need a hand with an issue.
I love helping others. As many do, I get a profound sense of satisfaction knowing I made someone’s day a tiny bit better.
As a teenager, I taught snowboarding lessons in Quebec to both children and adults, as I love snowboarding and passing on my experience.
I love to cook, especially for others.
I love to garden and am slowly growing my green thumb.
I am somewhat of a golfer, albeit a terrible one.
I’m an avid gamer, a hobby I find to be perfect for unwinding.
